Tidy Towns
Tidy Towns is our flagship program celebrating the achievements of communities across Queensland working toward a cleaner, more sustainable future. Since 2016, the program has included an accreditation component, recognising towns for their long-term commitment to environmental and community excellence.
Adopt-a-Spot
Litter on our roadways, and in our public spaces washes into stormwater drains entering local creeks, rivers and waterways, where it becomes lethal to marine and wildlife. By removing litter, groups are sending a clear message to the community that littering is unacceptable behaviour and to take care of our environment.

Keep Australia Beautiful (Queensland) is a not-for-profit volunteer-driven environmental charity, with more than 50 years of experience in developing successful litter prevention education, awareness campaigns, and community initiatives.
Our programs motivate people to enhance the quality of their local environment through personal initiative and community action.
Iconic programs like the Tidy Towns Clean Beaches (accreditation and awards competition), Adopt-a-Spot, and Cleaner Greener Schools (accreditation and awards competition) have inspired generations of eco-warriors to do the right thing and use the right bin.
